Constantly maligned in the Jewish dominated mass media, the passage of time repeatedly proves Hutton Gibson far more astute that his detractors.

Why are all the Jewish Leaders -- the ones who are Bashing The Passion of the Christ  movie -- promoting Vatican Council II?

Hutton Gibson explains

Brief Introduction

On March 9, 2003, an article appeared in the New York Times Magazine written by Christopher Noxon (noxious Noxon) at the behest of New York Times Magazine Editor and aspiring linguistic assassin, Frank Rich. The article was meant to smear and, if possible, destroy Mel Gibson and his movie project, The Passion of the Christ, by carrying explosive quotes from Hutton Gibson, Mel Gibson's Father, now 85 years old young.

One of the controversial quotes carried was this one:

". . .  he told me that the Second Vatican Council was ''a Masonic plot backed by the Jews.''

The "he" is Christopher Noxon, the author of the March 9, 2004 New York Times Magazine article. Noxon is hoping the public will pass this statement by the elder Mr. Gibson off as "wacky" -- and perhaps indicative of senility. But Noxon's strategy (predictably) hit a brick wall known as reality.

Take a look at the below statements by 'Passion' bashing Jewish leaders since March 9, 2003 -- and it will become clear that Hutton Gibson was on to them before they ever opened their mouths. You will notice that these Jewish leaders, who despise the pre-Vatican II era in the Roman Catholic Church, AND DESPISE THE MOVIE THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, are all frantically waving their hands and demanding that Catholics and Christians everywhere DROP EVERYTHING and "listen to Vatican II."

Vatican II was purportedly an Ecumenical Council of the Roman Catholic Church held from 1962 to 1965. Opinions vary among serious Catholic thinkers who oppose or are disturbed by Vatican II from "it's documents are ambiguous and not infallible" to "it was a false council." Hutton Gibson was obviously espousing the latter view: that Vatican Council II was a false council, and that it will eventually be condemned and discarded in toto.

Those who are new to this subject can research it further by reading the January 25, 1966 Look Magazine article, How the Jews Changed Catholic Thinking.

And you can read our more thorough analysis on the controversy swirling about Vatican Council II at the end of this article, -- after you read these quotes from Jewish Leaders immediately below.

The Quotes Themselves; Hutton's Comment Recalled

Daily Variety, September 19, 2003, carrying a quote from Abraham Foxman, Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL):
"Foxman, who has requested to see but not yet screened the film, said of the cardinal's comments: 'It makes the film worse, more damaging, more threatening because what we thought we had eliminated with Vatican II is coming back in a film.' "

Hutton Gibson, NYT Magazine, March 9, 2003:
“…[the Second Vatican Council was] a Masonic plot backed by the Jews."

Los Angeles Times, January 24, 2004
Abraham Foxman: "Forty years ago, we in the ADL helped the bishops to write those guidelines that permit artists to be honest about their faith without being hateful in their work. What Mel Gibson is doing is as much an attack on the Catholic Church and the Second Vatican Council as it is anything else."

Hutton Gibson, NYT Magazine, March 9, 2003:
“…[the Second Vatican Council was] a Masonic plot backed by the Jews."

Daily News (NY), June 14, 2003
Myrna Shinbaum, spokeswoman: "'Historically, treatment of the death of Jesus and the passion has led to the death of Jews,' ADL spokeswoman Myrna Shinbaum said. 'Since Vatican II in the 1960s, Catholics and Jews have worked very hard to move away from a literal interpretation [of the New Testament]. We would hope this film wouldn't set us back.'"

Hutton Gibson, NYT Magazine, March 9, 2003:
“…[the Second Vatican Council was] a Masonic plot backed by the Jews."

Palm Beach Post, January 23, 2004;
quote from Abraham Foxman, National Director of the ADL

"'Gibson is challenging the church's teaching. We must reach out and ask the Vatican and other denominations to restate their teaching on the Passion,' Foxman said."

Hutton Gibson, NYT Magazine, March 9, 2003:
“…[the Second Vatican Council was] a Masonic plot backed by the Jews."

Reuters News Service, February 17, 2004
Abraham Foxman, ADL: "It's Mel Gibson's version of the gospel, it's Mel's gospel. He's entitled but he's promoting it as the gospel truth … He's promoting it as biblical, historical truth and I believe the Church has a responsibility to its teachings, its interpretation, and this is at variance with what the Church is all about … I would hope that the Vatican and the Catholic Church would stand up to defend its teachings because in fact what the film is an interpretation that challenges what the Church has been teaching for the past 40 years …"
(Comment: Hey, Abe, if Vatican Officials are teaching something different in the last 40 years, then it must not be the teaching of the 2000 year old Roman Catholic Church -- and the "Vatican Officials" who instituted such novel teachings must be usurpers.)

Hutton Gibson, NYT Magazine, March 9, 2003:
“…[the Second Vatican Council was] a Masonic plot backed by the Jews."
